Group Coaching

If you blend content with like-minded peers and spoken accountability,
you create a powerful experience.

In many cases, the candor and feedback within a group coaching scenario are even more effective than one-on-one coaching.

That’s why so many of our clients choose group coaching—and remain in their groups for more than a year.

We offer three forms of group coaching: loosely structured and curriculum-based mastermind groups and in-person events.

It all starts with a call.

Benefits of group coaching

All sessions are recorded and available to you in the archives as long as you remain a member of the group. This enables you to listen to a session you’ve missed or replay an especially meaningful one.

You have access to the entire library of content (several dozen specialized courses) in the One More Deal library. This means that you can accelerate your learning on your own schedule.

You pay as you go, but you do not sign a contract—you can quit any time you want. This ensures that you are always receiving value for your investment.

From time to time, we hold in-person events for our clients and friends.

Often, these events build on the momentum we create in the group coaching sessions. We’ve found that our group coaching participants often bond with each other and want to meet in person to deepen their relationship with each other.

We plan these events with a specific theme and take care of all the details.

Each Mastermind group is carefully curated to ensure each participant will both benefit from the group and actively contribute.

The topics covered in each Mastermind group session are designed to address the participants’ most pressing issues.

Each Mastermind session consists of an accountability check: what will you do between now and the next call?

Group coaching options

This style of group coaching consists of a monthly call facilitated by us in which a mutually agreed topic is discussed among a carefully curated group of peers. During the call, we work through three main ideas: what’s new with you since our last call, a sifting of the designated topic and an accountability check—what will you do between now and the next call?

The main attributes of our peer-driven Mastermind groups are:

  • Open Agenda: Meetings are more flexible and driven by the current needs, challenges, or successes of the members. Every session might have a different focus.
  • Peer-led: Each session has a professional facilitator to encourage participation and provide prompts. The emphasis is on peer interaction. Everyone shares, learns from each other, and provides input based on their experiences.
  • Ongoing Participation: Members can stay as long as they find value.
  • Diverse Topics: Discussions can range across various topics, not limited to a specific curriculum or subject matter. For example, we may talk about business planning, time management, hiring or restructuring a team, or strategies for navigating the challenges in the current economic climate.

Our curriculum-based Mastermind groups differ only in that we have established the entire curriculum and each monthly discussion topic in advance and it is led by a subject-matter expert. This results in a more learning-oriented culture—you are learning about a specific topic or business line over the course of several months. Instead of “open accountability” (where you choose your response to the topic), you will be assigned homework to be submitted to us prior to the next monthly call.

The main attributes of our curriculum-based Mastermind groups are:

  • Structured Learning: This type of mastermind is built around a specific learning path or curriculum. Members progress through predefined modules or lessons at a set pace.
  • Clear Objectives: The curriculum often has clear objectives or outcomes that participants aim to achieve by program’s end.
  • Expert Leadership: Led by an expert or specialist who provides training, insights, and guidance specific to commercial real estate based on the curriculum.
  • Homework & Assignments: Members might have tasks or assignments to complete between sessions to apply what they’ve learned and get feedback during the next meeting. These might include market viability assessment, marketing reviews, or feedback on prospecting calls.
  • Cohort-Based: These masterminds usually have cohorts, meaning a group starts at the same time and progresses through the curriculum together.
  • Set Duration: Typically, there’s a set end date, after which the mastermind might conclude or move on to an advanced curriculum.
